Wallerawang and Lidsdale are wonderful places to live, with beautiful natural surroundings, a rich local history and a strong sense of community. However, like any growing community, there are always opportunities to make our towns even better.
At the Wallerawang Lidsdale Progress Association (WLPA), we believe local residents should have a voice in identifying the improvements that matter most to them.
That’s why we’re inviting the community to share ideas, suggestions and concerns about public spaces, infrastructure and facilities throughout Wallerawang and Lidsdale.
What Improvements Would You Like to See?
There are many aspects of our local area that could benefit from community input.
Parks, Playgrounds and Public Spaces
Are there parks or playgrounds that could benefit from upgraded equipment, improved seating, additional shade or better maintenance?
Our public spaces play an important role in bringing families, neighbours and visitors together.
Footpaths, Roads and Accessibility
Safe and accessible streets are essential for everyone.
Perhaps you’ve noticed a footpath that needs attention, a road that could be improved or a location where pedestrian safety could be better.
We’d love to hear your thoughts.
Community Facilities
Community halls, sporting facilities, recreational areas and other shared spaces help make Wallerawang and Lidsdale great places to live.
Are there facilities you believe could be upgraded, improved or better utilised?
Ideas for the Future
Not every suggestion needs to involve fixing something.
You might have an idea for a new community project, beautification initiative, public space or activity that would benefit local residents.
We’re interested in hearing those ideas too!
Your Voice Matters
The WLPA is committed to supporting and advocating for the interests of Wallerawang and Lidsdale.
By listening to residents, we can better understand local priorities and identify opportunities to raise important matters with the relevant organisations and authorities.
While not every suggestion will be immediately achievable, community feedback is an important starting point for positive change.
